PPC mount for hinge Friction Enhancement Pack needed to support
extra weight of tablets -- see description by clicking on n; Bonanza price is for center mount and does not include
the extended arm because it isn't needed. However for landscape
orientation of the tablet PC, the extended arm has the benefit
of greater rotation of screen toward pilot (limited by left edge
of tablet impinging on control housing). (see Motion Computing
Tablet PC installed on QC-S-BTPC mount in Baron cockpit by clicking
on n.
**** includes $28.20 additional to price of
PPC arm for extended arm needed to place a wide unit that won't
fit between yoke horns in front of or above yoke horns (see installed
extended arm yoke mount by clicking on n ); plus $10.50 for Friction Enhancement Pack to support
heavier units see description by clicking on n.
Axis of friction hinge on 3-base is 1/2 inch higher, allowing
extended arm to clear or to give more comfortable clearance for
high yoke horns, especially those with a button on top . Bonanza
price is for center mount only (which doesn't need extended arm).
